Who we are

Terzi Weather Platform ("TWP", "we", "us") operates this website. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Terzi Weather Intelligence S.R.L.
Registration number / CUI: 52932775
Registered address: 19 Podragul Street, Sibiu, Romania

For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to us at contact@terziweather.com.

What we collect

If you send us a message through the contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation and message content you provide, together with the category you select to describe yourself.

Our website host records standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This is generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure and is used to keep the site running securely.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use the details you submit through the contact form solely to read and answer your enquiry, and to carry on any conversation that follows from it. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where your enquiry concerns working with us, the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

We use technical log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we will not add you to any mailing list without asking you separately and clearly.

Who else sees it

Contact form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-processing service that forwards the message to our inbox and stores it briefly on its own systems. Our website is hosted by Lovable. Our email is provided by SiteGround. Each of these acts as a processor on our behalf and is bound to handle the data only as we instruct.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up the thread if you come back to us. Where an enquiry leads nowhere, we delete it within two years. Technical log data is retained by our host for a short period in the ordinary course of running the site.

You can ask us to delete your correspondence sooner, and we will unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased, to restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these, write to contact@terziweather.com. We will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at dataprotection.ro. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. We do not use cookies for analytics, profiling or advertising, which is why you are not asked to consent to any.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly.
